NEWS: Evan Peters Set to Play Jeffery Dahmer in Netflix Biopic

American Horror Story veteran and Marvel smash hit 'Evan Peters' is set to play the sadistic real life serial killer and cannibal Jeffery Dahmer in the Netflix's "Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story" a crime series dramatizing Dahmer's horrendous actions. The series will be helmed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphey, who has also done projects for Netflix such as "Ratchet" with Sarah Paulson.

Not much is yet known  about the series, but it is said it will take the perspective of one of Dahmer's victims and commentate on the idea of white privilege, regarding a press note saying "A clean-cut, good-looking white guy", describing Jeffery Dahmer and how he was given lenient treatment by the judges and police officers that faced him even knowing his horrific crimes.

The last time Evan Peters worked with Ryan Murphey had him playing other infamous people true crime fans might know, such as Charles Manson, Marshall Applewhite, and Jim Jones in American Horror Story: Cult.

This also isn't the first film about Jeffery Dahmer in recent years, as the 2017 film adaptation of the graphic novel "My Friend Dahmer" put former Disney star Ross Lynch in the eyes of the audience as Dahmer in his teenage years.

Ryan Murphey and Evan Peters never disappoint so I am definitely excited to see how this series turns out, and I'm interested in what the horror community will think of this interesting take on the crimes of Jeffery Dahmer.
